Term 3 Week 6 Maths
0’s rule is if a multiplication question has a 0 in it the answer is 0.
Examples:
0 x 2 = 0
0 x 4 = 0
0 x 6 = 0
0 x 8 = 0
0 x 10 = 0
1’s rule is if a multiplication question has a 1 in it the answer is the other number.
Example:
1 x 2 = 2
1 x 4 = 4
1 x 6 = 6
1 x 8 = 8
1 x 10 = 10
10’s rule is if a multiplication question has a 10 in it the answer is the other number and add a 0 on the end.
Example:
10 x 2 = 20
10 x 4 = 40
10 x 6 = 60
10 x 8 = 80
10 x 10 = 100
Mum told Sam to make his bed 3 times but he ignored her. How many times did Sam make his bed? 3 x 0 = 0
